elevenlabs.io homepage teardown: 73/100
A visually polished page that sacrifices instant clarity with a vague H1 and abstract visuals instead of an immediate interactive voice demo.
We ran elevenlabs.io through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 73/100, #5 of the 9 AI startup landing page examples we scored (average 72) and #19 of all 70 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Design (86), and its weakest is CTA (67).
Audited on 2026-10-18 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and elevenlabs.io didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Abstract, non-descriptive hero headline (H1)
The H1 'Bringing technology to life' reads like a generic biotech or robotics slogan. It fails to convey ElevenLabs' category-defining capability (realistic AI voice generation and conversational agents) within the first 3 seconds.
Fix: Rewrite H1 to immediately declare the core product offering, such as 'The world's most lifelike AI voice platform and conversational agents.'
2. Abstract 3D spheres replace an immediate voice sandbox
The primary hero graphic uses abstract fuzzy colored spheres with tiny play buttons. ElevenLabs' killer feature is its voice realism; visitors should immediately see and test a live text-to-speech prompt box right in the hero without guessing.
Fix: Replace or supplement the abstract orb carousel with an interactive mini-sandbox where users can type a sentence and hear an instant sample across distinct voices.
3. Disjointed desktop hero layout splits headline and explanation
The desktop view separates the H1 ('Bringing technology to life') on the far left and the explanatory subhead ('Powering the best enterprises...') on the far right. This breaks natural F-pattern scanning and leaves massive empty whitespace.
Fix: Unify the left and right columns into a cohesive left-aligned or centered stack: Headline, Subheadline, CTA group, followed immediately by the product demo.
What the elevenlabs.io homepage does well
- Clean, high-end typography and restrained, modern SaaS aesthetic.
- Fast access to voice samples directly within the first viewport interaction.
- Segmented tabs acknowledging the core customer segments (Creative, Agents, API).
