senja.io homepage teardown: 75/100
Landing page examples › Indie › senja.io
The hero leads with a Jay Clouse quote instead of a headline that says who Senja is for or what result they get, so the real H1 sits below it and the first screen reads as a testimonial, not a product.
We ran senja.io through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 75/100, #5 of the 9 indie hacker landing page examples we scored (average 72) and #17 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Trust (100), and its weakest is Clarity (45).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and senja.io didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. No audience named in the first screen
The hero says "customer testimonials and case studies" but never says who it is for, so a visitor cannot tell within seconds whether a creator, SaaS founder or agency should keep reading.
Fix: Name the buyer in the subheadline, for example "Senja helps creators, SaaS founders and agencies collect testimonials and turn them into proof on their site."
2. Headline is a quote, not a result
"I've already seen a tangible impact on revenue and conversion by sharing more social proof" is a borrowed slogan; it gives no measurable outcome a visitor can picture for themselves.
Fix: Lead with a concrete outcome such as "Turn happy customers into testimonials your buyers trust" and move Jay Clouse's quote beneath the CTA as proof.
3. No reason why Senja over alternatives
The first screen lists features (text and video collection, import, widgets) but never explains why this tool beats spreadsheets, Boast, Famewall or simply asking customers by email.
Fix: Add a differentiator line under the hero, such as "Collect in 30 seconds, then publish to your site, socials and sales pages from one place", tied to the Google Sheets pain the page's own testimonials mention.
What the senja.io homepage does well
- The H1 and the line beneath it state plainly that Senja is a tool for gathering customer testimonials and case studies, so the product category is clear.
- "Start for free today" sits in the first screen on both desktop and phone as a large gradient button, which gives a single obvious starting point.
- Named testimonials with photos, including Jay Clouse above the headline and Brad Cumbers in the video card, plus "loved by 20,000+ customers", build credibility immediately.
