typeform.com homepage teardown: 67/100
A visually polished SaaS homepage that buries its primary mobile call-to-action under banner clutter and lacks above-the-fold social proof or product visuals.
We ran www.typeform.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 67/100, #9 of the 11 no-code tool landing page examples we scored (average 69) and #56 of all 70 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Design (78), and its weakest is Mobile (52).
Audited on 2026-10-18 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and typeform.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Mobile primary CTA is completely pushed off-screen by cookie banner and top promo
On mobile, the top notification bar ('Connect Claude, ChatGPT...') paired with the massive white 'Cookie consent' modal consumes over 55% of the screen height, cutting off 'Get started—it’s free' before users can tap it.
Fix: Minimize the cookie consent banner to a subtle bottom tray or sticky footer banner with an immediate 'Accept' button, and collapse the top promo banner on mobile screens.
2. Missing semantic H1 tag on the homepage
The main hero title 'Your favorite forms. Now with AI automation.' is coded as an H2 (`h1: []` in page metadata), degrading search engine topical authority for high-value terms like 'form builder'.
Fix: Change the hero headline wrapper from an `<h2>` to an `<h1>` containing primary keywords, or wrap 'Your favorite forms. Now with AI automation.' in a semantic `<h1>`.
3. Zero product preview or social proof above the fold
The dark hero section relies entirely on abstract text. Visitors cannot see what the new 'AI automation' or forms look like in action, and massive trust signals (e.g., '150,000+ businesses') are buried far below.
Fix: Pull a compact interactive preview or micro-video of an AI form generating questions into the hero right side (or below headline on mobile), accompanied by a 1-line client proof bar (e.g. logos or 'Used by 150,000+ teams').
What the typeform.com homepage does well
- Typography and brand identity remain distinctive and premium with clean serif display typography.
- The primary CTA button ('Get started—it’s free') on desktop has high contrast against the dark background.
- Clear categorical framing with the 'ASK', 'ACT', 'LEARN' product framework helps users understand the progression from form to workflow.
