typeform.com homepage teardown: 76/100
Landing page examples › No-code › typeform.com
Typeform's hero leads with a feature-style headline, "Your favorite forms. Now with AI automation.", and a cookie banner covers the lower half of the first screen, so the value case is buried.
We ran www.typeform.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 76/100, #2 of the 11 no-code tool landing page examples we scored (average 71) and #14 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Value prop (93), and its weakest is Clarity (55).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and typeform.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. No stated audience in the hero
The headline and subheadline never say who this is for; a visitor who isn't already a form user can't tell whether marketers, HR, or researchers should keep reading.
Fix: Add an audience cue to the subheadline, e.g. change "Combine AI forms and automated workflows to drive revenue growth." to "For marketing, HR and research teams: combine AI forms and automated workflows to drive revenue growth."
2. Low-contrast text
Seven text elements fall below the contrast minimum, including small grey link text, which hurts readability for low-vision users and on bright phone screens.
Fix: Darken the small grey text (for example the "cookie policy" link and the "Save your spot" banner link) until each reaches at least 4.5:1 against its background.
3. Headline names a feature, not a result
"Your favorite forms. Now with AI automation." describes what's new rather than an outcome such as more responses or revenue, so the first read gives no reason to act.
Fix: Lead with the result: "Forms that get 3.5x more data, then drive revenue on autopilot." Keep "Your favorite forms" as a smaller eyebrow if the brand voice needs it.
What the typeform.com homepage does well
- The eyebrow "AI FORMS & AUTOMATION" and the subheadline "Combine AI forms and automated workflows" say plainly what the product is in the first screen.
- The benefits are specific, for example "doubling the completion rate vs. traditional forms" and "Get insights in hours, not weeks", which gives the visitor a measurable reason to care.
- Customer results with numbers (SmartBug Media's 40% more sales leads, Double Denim's $3.67 million in sales) and the "Join 150,000+ businesses" line give strong social proof.
