typefully.com homepage teardown: 67/100
Landing page examples › Indie › typefully.com
The hero is a sign-in modal floating over a dimmed app, so the first screen has no single clear action and the value is buried under four equal login buttons.
We ran typefully.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 67/100, #6 of the 9 indie hacker landing page examples we scored (average 72) and #45 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Trust (93), and its weakest is CTA (20).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and typefully.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Audience not named in the hero
The only audience cue is "Join 10,000+ customers", which says who buys, not who it is for. A creator, a marketer and a team lead all see the same generic promise.
Fix: Name the audience in the subheadline, e.g. replace "The AI-powered, collaborative social media scheduler" with "The scheduler for creators and teams who post on X and LinkedIn" and keep the customer count as proof below it.
2. No single main action
Four equal sign-up options (Google, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, Email) compete with each other, so visitors have to choose a method before they commit to anything.
Fix: Keep one dominant primary button such as "Start writing free" and move the other sign-in methods into a secondary text link or a smaller row beneath it.
3. Main button does not stand out
The login buttons are white or outlined pills with grey text on a pale gradient, so nothing in the first screen reads as the thing to press.
Fix: Make the primary sign-up button a solid, high-contrast fill in the brand blue, larger than the other options, with clear padding and a bolder label.
What the typefully.com homepage does well
- The subheadline "The AI-powered, collaborative social media scheduler for X, LinkedIn, Bluesky, and Threads" says what the product is and names the platforms directly.
- The headline "Write better content Grow on social media faster" states an outcome for the visitor.
- Social proof is strong: "Trusted by the best companies", "10,000+ customers" and "0 → 20,000 followers on LinkedIn in 1 year" appear high on the page.
