zendesk.com homepage teardown: 81/100

Landing page examples › B2B › zendesk.com

The hero makes a strong outcome promise, but the actual headline label is tiny and the page never says who the product is for, so visitors get a result without a clear audience or reason to pick Zendesk.

We ran zendesk.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 81/100, #1 of the 11 B2B landing page examples we scored (average 70) and #4 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is CTA (87), and its weakest is Value prop (67).

Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and zendesk.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes

1. No specific audience named

The first screen only says "22,000+ SERVICE TEAMS TRUST ZENDESK AI", which is broad. A support leader cannot tell in five seconds whether this is for their team size, industry or channel mix, so they are less likely to commit to the trial.

Fix: Name the buyer in the hero, for example "For contact center and customer support leaders at growing companies", or add a short line under the form such as "Built for e-commerce, SaaS and enterprise service teams".

2. Headline is small and reads like a label

The real headline "AI-POWERED CUSTOMER SERVICE PLATFORM" is 14 px and the lowest-ranked text, so the first thing read is a generic category label instead of the value message.

Fix: Make "Automate up to 80% of interactions with Zendesk AI agents." the h1, and demote "AI-POWERED CUSTOMER SERVICE PLATFORM" to a small eyebrow above it, or move the category wording into the subheadline.

3. Reason to choose Zendesk is implied

The meta promise "Move beyond deflection with AI agents that resolve issues end-to-end" is not shown on screen. The visible copy says "Built to improve with every resolution", which does not explain why Zendesk over other tools.

Fix: Put a differentiator in the subheadline, for example "Unlike chatbots that deflect, Zendesk AI agents resolve issues end-to-end and improve with every resolution."
