bubble.io homepage teardown: 67/100
Landing page examples › No-code › bubble.io
The hero splits attention across a prompt box, five example chips, a blank-app link and an 'Import your code' link, so the visitor never gets one clear next step, and the cookie banner covers part of the first screen.
We ran bubble.io through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 67/100, #10 of the 11 no-code tool landing page examples we scored (average 71) and #46 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Clarity (80), and its weakest is Design (50).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and bubble.io didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Too many competing first-screen actions
The hero offers Web/Mobile toggles, five example chips, 'Start with a blank app', 'Import your code' and the prompt box, so no single action dominates and visitors have to choose.
Fix: Keep the prompt box as the single primary action with one clear button, and move 'Try an example' chips and 'Already built an app with AI?' lower or into a secondary row.
2. Too many exits in the first screen
With 25 clickable links and buttons including the nav menu, 'Contact sales' and 'Log in', visitors are pulled in many directions before they try anything.
Fix: Reduce the header to logo, one 'Get started' button and 'Log in'; drop Product, Resources, Community and Examples dropdowns from the first viewport or the header.
3. Heavy page for a 3.7 s first paint
At 5.9 MB over the wire and 9.1 s total load, slow first paint hurts visitors on mobile and in ad traffic.
Fix: Compress and lazy-load the hero gradient and the 29 images, defer the cookie and third-party scripts, and serve modern image formats.
What the bubble.io homepage does well
- The eyebrow 'NO-CODE AI APP BUILDER' and the page title state exactly what Bubble is, so a visitor knows the category in seconds.
- 'Generate an app. Then turn it into a business.' promises an outcome, not just a tool, which gives the hero a clear reason to care.
- The FAQ and copy explain why Bubble differs from AI coding tools: 'Those tools generate code. Bubble builds apps that are fully visual', a sharp differentiator.
