jotform.com homepage teardown: 70/100
Landing page examples › No-code › jotform.com
The hero leads with a slogan ("Powerful forms get it done.") and a generic eyebrow, so a visitor can't tell in seconds what result Jotform delivers for them, even though the sign-up block is strong.
We ran www.jotform.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 70/100, #6 of the 11 no-code tool landing page examples we scored (average 71) and #36 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Speed & SEO (100), and its weakest is Clarity (40).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and jotform.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Audience not named
Nothing in the first screen says who the form builder is for. "Create professional-looking forms" and "businesses requiring professional forms" only appear further down, so a freelancer, teacher or store owner can't self-select at the top.
Fix: Name the audience in the hero, e.g. add "for teams, teachers, and small businesses" to the subheadline under "Powerful forms get it done."
2. Headline is a slogan, not a result
"Powerful forms get it done." is vague and could describe any product. It doesn't say what gets done or how much time or effort it saves.
Fix: Replace the h2 with a concrete outcome, such as "Collect sign-ups and payments in minutes, not days", and move the slogan into the eyebrow or drop it.
3. No clear reason to pick Jotform
The page never says what sets Jotform apart from Google Forms, Typeform or Tally. Visitors comparing tools have no reason to choose it here.
Fix: Add one differentiator line under the hero, such as the 20,000+ templates or the 150+ integrations, which the page already mentions in its footer copy.
What the jotform.com homepage does well
- "EASIEST ONLINE FORM BUILDER" states plainly what the product is, so a visitor knows the category immediately.
- The blue "Sign Up with Google" button is 62 px tall and stands out clearly against the white card, making it easy to find.
- The benefit-led sections, such as "Build the form you need in minutes" and "Collect online payments seamlessly", explain outcomes rather than only listing features.
