notion.com homepage teardown: 76/100
Notion's visual branding and social proof are world-class, but pivoting the hero entirely around 'agents' risks confusing prospects looking for a modern doc, wiki, and project management workspace.
We ran notion.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 76/100, #4 of the 11 SaaS landing page examples we scored (average 73) and #6 of all 70 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Trust (92), and its weakest is SEO basics (62).
Audited on 2026-10-18 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and notion.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Abstract 'agents' terminology obscures Notion's core utility
Headline 'Where teams and agents Think together.' leans hard into AI hype without grounding what an 'agent' does for standard users who still evaluate Notion for notes, wikis, and task management.
Fix: Ground the headline in tangible outcomes: combine Notion's core foundation (docs, wikis, projects) with its agentic AI superpowers.
2. Mobile viewport completely cuts off the product interface
On mobile, the interactive Ramp workspace mockup disappears entirely below the fold, replaced by decorative avatar circles and stacked buttons. Visitors see marketing abstraction instead of the actual tool.
Fix: Remove the top decorative avatar strip on mobile and show a compressed 200px peek of the actual Notion UI mockup above the fold.
3. Zero friction-reversing microcopy beneath the primary CTAs
'Get Notion free' stands next to 'Request a demo' with no supporting reassurance (e.g., 'Free forever', 'No credit card required', or seat-count qualification for the demo).
Fix: Add micro-copy below the button group: 'Free forever for individuals & small teams • No credit card required'.
What the notion.com homepage does well
- Unrivaled logo social proof strip (OpenAI, Figma, Ramp, NVIDIA, Toyota) instantly signals top-tier industry trust.
- Clean, recognizable typography and trademark monochrome aesthetic reinforce Notion's established design pedigree.
- Strong visual contrast between the bold blue primary CTA and the subdued secondary demo option.
