notion.com homepage teardown: 72/100
Landing page examples › SaaS › notion.com
The hero headline "Where teams and agents Ship together." is a slogan that doesn't say what Notion does, and the sub-line is the only place that explains it.
We ran notion.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 72/100, #5 of the 11 SaaS landing page examples we scored (average 70) and #28 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Mobile (100), and its weakest is Clarity (45).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and notion.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Headline is a slogan, not a result
"Where teams and agents Ship together." reads as a tagline; a visitor cannot tell from it what they get, so the first thing they read carries no outcome.
Fix: Replace the headline with a result-led line such as "Get answers from every app, and put AI agents to work on busywork." Keep "Ship" as a secondary accent if the brand needs it.
2. No reason to choose Notion over alternatives
The only differentiator is the quote "Using the most AI-native tools like Notion is an important competitive advantage", which is a customer testimonial further down, not a reason on the first screen.
Fix: Add a short differentiator under the sub-line, e.g. "One workspace for docs, tasks and AI that cites its sources", so the reason to pick Notion is visible above the fold.
3. Product category not stated
The subhead "Capture context, find answers, and automate tasks with AI built for your team" never names the product type (workspace, docs, wiki), so the category is guessable at best.
Fix: Name the category in the subhead: "Notion is the all-in-one workspace for notes, docs and projects, with AI built in."
What the notion.com homepage does well
- The headline is short and large at 96 px, so it is the first thing read on desktop.
- Feature lines are phrased as outcomes, such as "Get answers, instantly—with citations", rather than product specs.
- Strong social proof sits close by: G2 ranking, 100M users, and named logos including OpenAI, Figma and Ramp.
