cal.com pricing page teardown: 73/100
A sleek, modern pricing layout held back by an enterprise-focused hero CTA that alienates self-serve users and fragmented billing toggles.
We ran cal.com/pricing through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 73/100, #5 of the 14 SaaS pricing page examples we scored (average 69). Its strongest area is Design (85), and its weakest is Trust (65).

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Hero CTA contradicts the primary value proposition
The subheadline invites users to 'Start scheduling for free, with no usage limits', but the prominent black hero CTA directly underneath is 'Talk to sales >'. This introduces immediate friction for the majority of users seeking self-serve scheduling.
Fix: Change the hero primary CTA to 'Get started free' pointing to the free signup flow, and make 'Talk to sales' a subtle text link or secondary button for enterprise visitors.
2. Per-card billing toggles create unnecessary visual clutter and friction
Instead of a centralized 'Monthly / Yearly (Save 25%)' toggle above the grid, Cal.com places miniature 'YEARLY' toggle switches inside each individual card (Teams and Organizations), while Free and Enterprise lack them.
Fix: Consolidate billing frequency into a single centralized toggle above the 4 cards so users can compare monthly vs. yearly costs across all tiers simultaneously.
3. Zero trust or social proof above the fold
High-intent pricing page visitors need immediate reassurance. Customer logos, user counts, and review scores are buried far down the page under 'Trusted by fast-growing companies around the world'.
Fix: Add a compact trust strip right below the hero or directly beneath the pricing cards (e.g., 'Trusted by 100,000+ teams and leaders at [Logos]').
What the cal.com pricing page does well
- Clean typographic hierarchy with clear pricing numbers ($12, $28, Custom) and generous card padding.
- The Free tier is genuinely compelling with 'Unlimited event types & calendars' clearly stated up front.
- Detailed feature comparison matrix below the fold provides thorough clarity for technical and procurement buyers.
