culturedcode.com homepage teardown: 58/100
Cultured Code relies entirely on brand prestige, leaving the hero section without a primary download CTA, UI preview, or mention of its Apple exclusivity.
We ran culturedcode.com/things through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 58/100, #9 of the 10 app landing page examples we scored (average 66) and #77 of all 80 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Design (82), and its weakest is CTA (32).
Audited on 2026-10-18 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and culturedcode.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. No conversion CTA above the fold
The only interactive element ATF is a text link reading 'Watch Introduction Video'. Visitors ready to try or buy must scroll past multiple folds to find platform pricing or App Store links.
Fix: Add dual primary CTAs ATF: a high-contrast 'Try Free on Mac' button alongside an 'App Store' download button.
2. Hero features an oversized app icon instead of product UI
First-time visitors see a massive 3D icon of a desk organizer rather than the award-winning task interface, failing to visually convey why Things is superior to competitors.
Fix: Replace or scale down the icon and pull the product screenshot (macOS/iOS app UI) directly into the hero fold.
3. H1 contains zero value proposition or platform context
The H1 is simply 'Things'. It doesn't communicate what the app does, who it is for, or that it is exclusive to the Apple ecosystem (leaving Windows/Android users confused).
Fix: Update H1 to a benefit-focused statement like 'The elegantly simple task manager for Mac & iOS' or add an eyebrow tag like 'Award-Winning Task Manager for Apple Devices'.
