resend.com homepage teardown: 75/100
Landing page examples › SaaS › resend.com
The hero says "Email for developers" with no outcome, so a visitor learns the category but not why Resend beats the email tool they already use.
We ran resend.com through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 75/100, #4 of the 11 SaaS landing page examples we scored (average 70) and #16 of all 79 homepages in our ranked list. Its strongest area is Mobile (93), and its weakest is Value prop (67).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and resend.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. No 'try it safely' reassurance in the hero
Developers evaluating an email API worry about accidentally emailing real people. The only reassurance on the page sits deep in the feature section as 'Test mode', and the hero offers no low-risk way to try it.
Fix: Add a short line under the hero CTAs such as "Try it free, no real emails sent in test mode", or link the 'Documentation' button to a sandbox/test-mode quickstart.
2. Audience not named
'Email for developers' is broad. Marketers, founders and ops people scanning the hero cannot tell whether the product is for them, so they may leave.
Fix: Name the buyer and use case in the subheadline, e.g. "Transactional and marketing email API for developers and product teams, from Next.js, Node or any stack."
3. Headline names a category, not a result
'Email for developers' describes what the product is, not what changes for the visitor. Nothing in it promises inbox placement, speed or time saved.
Fix: Lead with the outcome, e.g. "Email that reaches the inbox" with the existing subline kept beneath it.
What the resend.com homepage does well
- The H1 'Email for developers' plus the subline 'Deliver transactional and marketing emails at scale' makes clear within seconds that this is an email sending product.
- Lower on the page, 'Import your list in minutes, regardless the size of your audience' gives a specific, measurable benefit that most of the hero lacks.
- Named testimonials from Vercel's CEO and several well-known startup founders, plus 'Companies of all sizes trust Resend', give strong social proof.
