dropbox.com pricing page teardown: 67/100
Landing page examples › Pricing page › dropbox.com
The hero says "Go from idea to done with Dropbox", a slogan that never states a result, and three competing plan cards with six button labels leave the visitor unsure what to click first.
We ran www.dropbox.com/plans through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 67/100, #8 of the 14 SaaS pricing page examples we scored (average 67). Its strongest area is Mobile (100), and its weakest is Clarity (45).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and dropbox.com didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. Headline is a slogan, not a result
"Go from idea to done" is vague; a visitor scanning the pricing page cannot tell what they will get by choosing a plan.
Fix: Replace the H2 "Go from idea to done with Dropbox" with a headline that names the outcome, such as "Store, share and sign files in one place", and keep the current line as a brand tagline elsewhere.
2. No customer count, ratings or logos
Nothing in the first screen shows that other people trust Dropbox, so the price decision starts without reassurance.
Fix: Add a short line under the subheadline such as a user count or a rating with its source, or a row of recognisable customer logos, placed above the plan cards.
3. Product type is guessable
"Store and share files. Sign and send documents." implies a product but never names it as cloud file storage, so the page is hard to grasp in one glance.
Fix: Make the subheadline explicit, e.g. "Cloud storage, file sharing and e-signatures for individuals and teams."
What the dropbox.com pricing page does well
- The headline "Go from idea to done with Dropbox" is short, at 7 words and 32 px, and sits centred at the top of the page.
- Prices are shown on the cards: "Plus $9.99 / month", "Standard $15 / user / month" and "Advanced $24 / user / month", so the offer is clear at a glance.
- The "Buy now" button on the Plus card is a strong blue with 4.82:1 contrast and is 55 px tall, so it stands out well.
