linear.app pricing page teardown: 66/100
Landing page examples › Pricing page › linear.app
The pricing page opens with a bare "Pricing" heading and four plan columns, never saying what Linear is, who it's for, or why a visitor should pick one plan over another.
We ran linear.app/pricing through PageCritic's landing page audit. It scored 66/100, #9 of the 14 SaaS pricing page examples we scored (average 67). Its strongest area is Mobile (100), and its weakest is Clarity (30).
Audited on 2026-10-24 from desktop and mobile screenshots plus the page's HTML. The scores are an AI's opinion of conversion best practices, not measured conversion rates, and linear.app didn't ask for this review. The page may have changed since.

Top 3 issues, with fixes
1. No audience named on the first screen
Visitors can't tell whether the plans fit a solo developer, a startup team or an enterprise IT buyer, so they have to guess which column applies to them.
Fix: Add a line under the h1 such as "Plans for solo builders, growing product teams and large engineering orgs" so the audience is named before the four columns.
2. Headline is a label, not a result
"Pricing" describes the page, not an outcome, so nothing on the first screen promises the visitor a benefit worth reading further for.
Fix: Replace the h1 "Pricing" with a result-led headline such as "Ship more issues with less admin, free to start", keeping "Pricing" as a smaller eyebrow label.
3. No reason to choose Linear
The page lists plan contents but never explains why Linear beats alternatives, so a comparison-minded visitor has no differentiator to hold onto.
Fix: Add a short line above the plans, e.g. "Linear keeps issue tracking fast enough that teams actually use it. Start free, upgrade when you grow."
What the linear.app pricing page does well
- The plan tiers and prices are easy to compare side by side: Free $0, Basic $10, Business $16 per user/month, Enterprise custom, each with a clear price line.
- The Business "Get started" button is a light filled button at 15.83:1 contrast, so it clearly stands out as the primary action among the dark plan buttons.
- The page loads quickly, with largest paint at 0.6 s, so visitors reach the plan grid without waiting.
